American actor and musician Awkwafina began her career with hilarious lyrics that tackled issues of the issue of sexuality and race with comical wit before expanding her reach into Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens. Her first experience with music came through the instrument of trumpet. Later, she began the classical and hip-hop genres. In college, she studied writing and women's studies. It was also during this time that she spent one semester studying Mandarin at the University of Beijing. Storks and Bad Rap. She had a breakthrough role in 2018 with a few notable films like Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP debuted in June.
